Dandee Pattee Workshop at Lander Art Center
Lander Native Dandee Pattee returned to her home town last weekend to present a ceramic workshop sponsored by POWR (Potters of the Wind Rivers) and the Lander Art Center. The workshop took place in Lander Art Center's new 320 Studio space, which houses individual artist studios and LAC's ceramics department.
Dandee recently moved back to Wyoming from the Washington, D.C. area, and is currently an Adjunct Professor of Ceramics at Casper College.
Dandee studied and apprenticed all over the country, working with such greats as Gail Kendall, Pete Pinnell, Clary Illian and Linda Arbuckle. She received her Master's Degree from the widely respected ceramics program at the University of Florida.
Dandee is currently a Board Member of NCECA (National Council on Education in Ceramic Arts) and will be attending their annual conference in the next few days where over 5,000 ceramic artists will be in attendance--this year in Rhode Island.
We are very proud of our home-town girl, and were inspired by her work and demonstrations. AND, Dandee is now officially our newest POWR Member! Welcome, Dandee, and thank you for sharing your amazing experiences and expertise with us! Here are a few photos from the workshop. Enjoy!
